Quiet, beautifully furnished, fully air-conditioned generous size apartment of approx. 5250 cubic feet (12 ft. high ceilings) with one queen size bed, full bath (stocked with Gilchrist & Soames soaps and conditioning shampoo) with skylight, hairdryer, iron and an ironing board, fully equipped windowed kitchen: stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (complimentary coffee & tea offered), and tea kettle, fireplace, high ceilings, three flights up, gorgeous sun streaming through the windows which overlook beautifully planted gardens with 200 year-old trees, a New York view, digital cable TV with VCR, CD stereo, private telephone. (For your safety, all fireplaces are non-working.) This apartment has a high-speed Verizon DSL Internet connection; guests will need to connect by plugging their ethernet cable into our wall ethernet outlet.

"I enjoyed the Monet Garden View Apartment I stayed in on West 11th Street immensely. It is a charming one bedroom, with lots of light, a beautiful courtyard view, and an old world flavor. It feels like one is living in Europe. It is extremely quiet, peaceful, and the owners are both responsible and gracious. I am a writer, and I found it a particularly enjoyable and productive spot to work. The neighborhood is one of the best in the city. Everything you could want is within a two block walk from your front door."
