West Eleventh Townhouse Apartments Policies


Check in between 2 pm and 10 pm by appointment; check out before 11 am by appointment.

To obtain a confirmed reservation, a 25% deposit is required paid by a valid credit card, cash or travelersí checks. Please take note of our Policies, before committing to a reservation.

The balance of the amount of your reserved stay is due upon arrival or scheduled arrival payable by your credit card or in cash or travelersí checks. Confirmed reservations are considered as final and any change requested will be at the discretion of management. Please let us know immediately of a cancellation or change in plans.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Other forms of payment accepted: postal money orders, official bank checks, travelers checks or US$ currency. If paying by money order, official bank check, or travelers checks, please make payable to: Therese Kontos. One quarter (1/4) of the amount is due upon booking and the balance is due on arrival or scheduled arrival.

Add 14.75% + $3.50 per night state & local sales and hotel tax to our quoted rates. (City and State Sales Tax 8.875% plus NYC Hotel Room Occupancy Tax 5.875%)

Please email or call us to check availability and specific minimum stay requirements. Minimum reservation of two (2) nights during weekdays and three (3) nights during weekends may apply. Some holiday or high-season periods may have a five-night requirement. Minimum stay requirements may be reduced for reservations made within one week of arrival. Shorter stays may be subject to a surcharge. The entire amount for a single night's reservation is payable upon booking and there is no refund in the event of a cancellation.

Shorter than minimum stays will be booked ONLY to fill short room-occupancy gaps or in the event of a last-minute cancellation.

During the high season from September 1st through January 5th we require a 5-night minimum stay, except if nights are available in between existing bookings.

No arrivals or departures on December 24th, December 25th, December 31st and January 1st.

Upon arrival at the airport we would appreciate telephoning the person who is scheduled to check you in to West Eleventh Apartments; several days before your arrival we will email you or call you to provide you with the name of that person and their cell phone number; we receive our guests by appointment as we do not wish to keep guests waiting. Arrivals after 10 pm require special arrangements.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is as follows: during regular periods, cancellations must be made at least ten (10) days prior to check in. A $100 cancellation fee will be charged for all cancellations made during the accepted cancellation period. ($100 per reserved apartment plus the actual processing cost that the credit card company charged us for the deposit.) During high season/holiday period, cancellations must be made at least 15 days in advance. The cancellation fee for a cancellation of any reservation made for the high season/holiday period (Sept. 1 - Jan. 5, 2009) for cancellations made during the acceptable cancellation period, will be a charge of one full night's booking; this is for bookings of 1 to 5 days; for bookings longer than 5 days, the cancellation fee applicable will be at the discretion of management.

Patrons cancelling reservations after the acceptable period will be charged the full room rate for up to four nights, depending on the length of the reservation. We will, however, credit patrons if we are able to re-let their accommodations for the original reservation period. We process credit card refunds at the end of each month.

We recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to cover any loss resulting from a cancellation of a reservation.

General Points of Interest

In consideration of all our guests we would like to advise you that visitors of guests are received by appointment or other special arrangements for the security of all; as we are a boutique size guesthouse we wish and try to maintain a sanctuary-like environment at all times for the pleasure of all our guests.

You may email us your reservation request and we'll get back to you as soon as possible if we have availability.

Check in between 2 pm and 10 pm by appointment. Checkout is before 11 am by appointment. We need details about your arrival because we are not available at all times. Please provide airline or other arrival information so that we may know when to expect you. Should you encounter any delay or change, please inform us of your revised schedule.

Upon arrival, the balance of your payment is due and is payable in cash (USD), travelersí checks (USD), or by a valid major credit card.

To make long distance calls, we recommend that you bring with you a 1-800 number from your local phone company or you may use your credit card to charge your calls or purchase a prepaid phone card.

West Eleventh Townhouse offers complimentary Broadband Internet access. Guests will need to connect by plugging their ethernet cable into our wall ethernet outlet.
